SIMPLE AMISH WHITE BREAD

I couldn’t seem to get much sleep yesterday night as i found myself still up glued to my phone’s screen doing nothing really, having nothing in the house for breakfast, I decided why not make bread?
I settled on making Amish white bread, now bread can’t get any simpler than this, its so easy to make, has that real bread taste and filling as well.
This sounded the best idea at that time as I basically just needed to knead the dough set it aside get back to bed,by the time i wake up i just bake.
It was pretty easy and i am sure you gonna absolutely love this bread. After making this you can go ahead and bake any other fancy bread you see around at the pastry shop.Consider this as a bread Baker starter pack.So simple you will love it.

INGREDIENTS.
2 cups water
2/3 cup white sugar
11/2 tablespoons dry yeast
11/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
6 cups flour
DIRECTIONS.
You first of all activate the yeast, now this should nit scare you away as its a pretty simple process.
Place 1/4 cup warm water in a bowl and mix in two tablespoons sugar. You then go ahead and add your yeast to the mixture and set aside for like 10 minutes.

After about 10 minutes your mixture should have formed a frothy foam like stuff at the top.

That is what is going to make our bread dough rise, refrain from using baking powder in baking your bread,as this will compromise on the favour and texture of the bread big time.
I went ahead and in the yeast mixture I added my vegetable oil, sugar&two cups water.Go ahead and mix in flour 1 cup at a time, knead your dough for close to 8 mins, set aside in a large bowl to rise, cover it up with a wet dump towel,i did not have this so i just used my cling foil.

Be sure to grease your bowl to avoid dough sticking to it

Now you let this rise for about an hour and a half till doubled up in size.

lightly floor your kneading surface and pour out the Rosen dough on it

Your dough should look like this at this point.Go ahead and punch it down, separate into two and place in greased baking tins.

Go ahead and set this aside to rise about 40minutes.

Should look something close to this here

Bake this in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at about 175°Celsius.

Take them off the oven and set on a cooling rack to cool.
Serve with butter or however you like your bread.
