This is a bourbon barbecue sauce perfect for burgers and sandwiches.
This sauce also goes down well with roast beef,pork or lamb.
It’s so easy to prepare and beats those on the supermarket shelves.
Be sure to use your bourbon drink of
choice to suit your taste,I chose wild turkey American honey for its distinctive honey whisky infusion.


1/2 cup chopped onions
8 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons cooking oil
1 cup bourbon whisky
2 cups ketchup
1 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Salt to taste
1/2 cup smoked bacon
Hot sauce of choice.
I started off by heating my oil in a saucepan,saute the onions and the garlic until they sweat off.Do not burn.


Go ahead and add in our ketchup,tomato paste,vinegar,brown sugar,Worcestershire sauce,salt,pepper,bacon and bacon.mix this up then pour in our bourbon.
Bring the mixture to a boil.



Have it simmer for 20 minutes and your whisky sauce is good to go.


You can store it overnight in a refrigerator allowing the flavours to infuse together for the best results.
