This simple sandwich takes little or no time to bring together,made from basic ingredients readily available in your pantry&refrigerator.
Whether served as breakfast or packed ready on the go,this delicious crispy,cheesy,gooey sandwich heaven is ideal,healthy and scrumptious,this is my go to sandwich when running on a budget.
2 bread slices
1 ripe red tomato
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shredded cheese
(I used sharp cheddar,use your favorite cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste
slice up your avocado and tomatoes
Butter your bread slices on one side each
Spread your cheese evenly on your bread.
Top either side with tomatoes and avocado slices
Season with salt and pepper
Bring this together
Heat up your grill pan or non stick pan to a medium high and place your sandwich on top
Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes undisturbed until browned and crispy,the heat should be just enough not to burn your sandwich while ensuring the cheese does melt.
After two minutes flip over
Cook the underside for two to 3 more minutes,by this time the cheese should have totally melted down and some oozing out on the pan.
When done take it out of the pan,cut it up and serve
