This recipe makes for a flavourful,sweet, caramelized carrots,tasty to the last bit.let’s face it,not all of us are fond of nibbling on raw carrots.The roasting brings out the sweetness of all the natural sugars in the carrots and they come out tasting like candy.
This can be prepared as a starter,a side dish or as a way to have the kids eat their veggies as it’s just amazing,not to mention how easy it is to prepare,from kitchen to the fork in 35 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 kg fresh carrots
1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
DIRECTIONS
Thoroughly wash your carrots and roughly chop them up
In a pan over low heat,melt your butter
Add in your garlic and fry until fragrant and slightly brown,about 3 minutes
In a separate bowl,toss your garlic butter mixture with the carrots.season with sat and pepper
Line your baking tray with aluminum foil and lightly grease it,line your carrots on the baking tray on a single layer
Bake this in a preheated oven at 210℃ for 30 minutes,toss them around halfway for even Caramelization
