Colourful,flavourful and full of nutrients,this oven roasted butternut squash is tasty,versatile and goes well with almost anything paired with thanks to its sweet,nutty flavour.

Simple yet elegant,butternut can be served as breakfast,lunch or dinner,its also good as a post workout meal getting your energy back up there.

This is an easy way to prepare your butternut,giving it an exotic flavour making every bite aromatic,delicious and fully packed with nutrients ready in under 45 minutes.


1 large butternut squash

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons olive oil


Peel and de-seed your squash

Dice it up its chunky even sized cubes

Mix in your salt,olive oil,pepper,sugar&cinnamon.Toss in your butternut squash

Lay your squash on a greased baking tray.Do not over crowd the baking tray

Set this in a preheated oven at 210℃ for 35 minutes.Keep checking after 20 minutes as I like mine well cooked with a crunch in every bite

Serve with a meal of choice or have it as a meal on its own
