VANILLA BREAKFAST MUFFINS

I love vanilla anything,cakes,ice-cream,cupcakes,yoghurt,milkshakes you name it.Anything baking with vanilla leaves my kitchen with a pleasant bakery smell and that alone is enough to put on a  smile on my face.

This muffins are pretty simple and basic with vanilla being the star of the show.this delicious muffins are topped with a cinnamon brown sugar crumb that provides for a sweet flavourful crust on your muffins

Vanilla MuffinsThis take little time to bring together and will take you just over 30 minutes to prepare.

This is a kid friendly recipe and they will love being involved in baking this sweet treats.

PREP TIME:7 MIN

COOK TIME:20-25 MIN

TOTAL TIME:32 MIN

SERVINGS:12 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

mix in all your dry ingredients in one bowl.(sugar,flour,baking powder&salt)

In a separate bowl mix together your wet ingredients(egg,vanilla essence&milk)

Fold in your wet ingredients into your dry and mix until no dry ingredients are visible do not over mix

Spoon into a greased baking tray or one lined with muffin cups

Mix together your cinnamon and brown sugar

Sprinkle on top of your muffins

Bake this in a preheated oven at 190℃ for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Our ovens are different,in case you notice your muffins start to burn before their cooking time,cover up using aluminum foil for the remainder of the baking time

Vanilla MuffinsThis recipe will make for 12 muffins,I used a large muffin tin and that halved my total number of muffins
