Been away from home for quite some time and these my mouth watering, honey balsamic beef Mshikaki was my way of welcoming myself back into the kitchen.
I was feeling tired, jet lagged and starving.8 hours seated on a plane has never been a cup of tea,we all know how disappointing plane food can be.
Long story short I needed something that was quick to prepare, sit down, put some food in me as I catch-up on movies. That’s when I decided to bring together my honey Balsamic mshikakis.
These are simple and quick to grill up,no marination required, season your beef with salt and pepper, onto the griddle pan or under your oven it goes, baste them with a honey and vinegar glaze and it’s done.
Easy to prepare, delicious and filling.pair this either with rice, wedges or ugali and you have a meal fit for a king.
This didn’t help with the jet lag,but I for sure felt at home and happy to be back cooking and with no rugby going on in my mind,my off-season clearly has started on a sweet and sour note
